Information handled on your device

Font Shelf reads imported font files locally to validate them, show family and style information, and prepare a font configuration profile. Imported font files, generated profiles, and export history remain on your device. Font files are not uploaded to Font Shelf.

Font Shelf stores a small local history of your font exports so the app can show them on your device. You can clear this history from the app.

Sharing and installation

If you use Share Install Profile, iOS presents the generated profile using the system share sheet. If you use Install in Settings, Font Shelf serves the generated profile only through a temporary loopback connection on your device so iOS can open it for your review. The connection is bound to the device and is stopped after the profile is served.

Font Shelf does not install profiles silently and cannot bypass iOS’s confirmation step in Settings.

Third-party services

Font Shelf does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party data-collection services.

Children’s privacy

Font Shelf does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
