Privacy Policy

OmniTrip is designed to help you organize your travels without ads, behavioral tracking, or the sale of personal information. Your trip data is stored on your devices and, when iCloud is available, in your own Apple iCloud account.
Information you provide
OmniTrip stores the information you choose to add, such as trip names, dates, destinations, itinerary items, transportation, expenses, notes, map locations, images, tickets, and other attachments. This information is used only to provide the app’s travel-planning features.
iCloud storage and sharing
OmniTrip uses Apple’s CloudKit service to synchronize your data across your devices. Trip information is associated with your Apple account for this purpose. If you choose to share a trip, the people you invite can access the information included in that shared trip according to the permissions you grant.
Apple processes iCloud data under its own privacy policy and service terms. OmniTrip does not operate a separate account system or advertising database.
Photos, files, microphone, and speech recognition
- Photos and files: OmniTrip accesses only the photos or documents you explicitly select to attach to a trip.
- Microphone and speech: If you use dictation, microphone audio is processed through Apple’s speech recognition technology to create text. OmniTrip does not retain the audio recording after dictation ends.
These features require your permission and can be managed at any time in your device’s privacy settings.
Maps and external services
OmniTrip uses Apple Maps for maps, place search, geocoding, routes, and location-based trip features. The app may also provide links to external websites, such as TasteAtlas, which open outside OmniTrip. Your use of those services is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.
Tracking, analytics, and advertising
OmniTrip does not include third-party advertising SDKs, does not sell personal information, and does not track you across apps or websites. The app does not use your trip information for targeted advertising or marketing profiles.
Retention and deletion
Your trip data remains available until you delete it from OmniTrip or remove it from your iCloud account. Deleting a trip removes the app’s local copy and requests deletion from iCloud. Information in a shared trip may remain available to other participants until the share is removed or they delete their copy, subject to Apple’s iCloud behavior.
Children’s privacy
OmniTrip is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as OmniTrip evolves. The effective date at the top of this page will be changed when an update is published.
